The New York-New York Roller Coaster
Does your teen live for thrill rides? Then head straight to New York-New York Hotel & Casino and buckle up for the Big Apple Coaster — a legitimate steel roller coaster that wraps around the outside of a New York City skyline replica right on the Las Vegas Strip.
It's one of those only-in-Vegas experiences that feels completely surreal — a roller coaster weaving through skyscrapers in the middle of the desert. Even your most hard-to-impress teenager will admit this one was worth it.
Zip Lining on the Strip
For teens who want the thrill of flying over Las Vegas without getting on a plane, the Fly LINQ Zipline near the Flamingo hotel is an absolute must. Stretching over 1,000 feet above the Linq Promenade, this zip line sends riders soaring over shops, restaurants, and thousands of tourists below.
The entire Linq Promenade area is a great spot to spend a few hours in general. Grab food, check out the High Roller Observation Wheel, and let your teens explore the outdoor shopping and entertainment area at their own pace.
Dig This: Heavy Equipment Playground
This one might be the most unexpected hit of any Las Vegas teen trip — and it consistently gets rave reviews from older kids and adults alike. Dig This is essentially a giant sandbox where you get to operate real, full-sized bulldozers and excavators.
Your teenager gets to climb into the cab of a massive piece of heavy machinery and — under professional instruction — actually dig trenches, move giant piles of dirt, and even play basketball with a bulldozer.
Las Vegas for the Foodie Teen
Here's something Las Vegas does extraordinarily well that often gets overlooked in family travel guides — the food scene is world-class, and for teenagers who consider themselves foodies, the dining options are genuinely overwhelming in the best way.

• China Poblano (The Cosmopolitan) A fun, high‑energy mash‑up of Chinese and Mexican cuisine. Teens love the noodles, tacos, dim sum, and the playful, colorful atmosphere.
• Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen (Caesars Palace) A dramatic, TV‑inspired dining experience that teens get a kick out of — especially if they watch the show. The Beef Wellington and sticky toffee pudding are must‑tries.
• Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer (The Venetian) Home of the famous CrazyShakes — massive, over‑the‑top milkshakes that are basically a teen rite of passage in Vegas. Great burgers, fun vibe, and super Instagrammable.
